Concept and Design

Novel Patented Method

Developed at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, our patented method employs laser-assisted glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal encapsulation. Our system uses two cameras, one a PTZ camera with high resolution and optical zoom to record sealing videos, and a 2D Machine Vision camera from SICK that enables pattern recognition. This technique is a game-changer for protecting Perovskite Solar Cells and Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells between two glass substrates.
